Formula One 2010 Opener at Bahrain

The Formula One season is here again and for the next few months until October, Formula one teams will battle it out to be the 2010 formula one champion. The 2010 opener at Bahrain has just completed with a 1-2 finish from the Ferrari teams of Alonso and Massa followed by Hamilton of McLaren. Seems to be another boring season unlike last year where the new Brawn GP won the championship and looked really strong at the beginning of the season.

It will be a boring 2010 as there will be a little too many cars on the grid with 12 teams competing and the no refueling make it even worse as car will be very heavy and overtaking is almost impossible.

The coming back of Schumacher brings a lot of expectation from the German to be the 2010 champion but obviously he too need to catch up with the speed and skills of much younger driver of Alonso calibre.

Whatever it we really hope for a better and not boring motor racing season.

Jenson Button won the Malaysian GP at Sepang

It was raining and the race was suspended after 33 laps and Jenson Button was classified at the race winner as he was leading at the point of lap 31. Second was BMW Nick Heidfeld and Toyota Timo Glock came in third.

This is the second consecutive win for the Brawn GP team when they finished 1-2 at the Australian GP last week. Sure for now we can say that this new comer will soon replace the big boys of formula one like the Ferrari and the Mclaren who have yet showing any sign of a champion team.

Ferrari have yet to score a point and their tyre change strategy was a total mess up and failure, a big embarassment for a team once dubbed at the king in the rain.

McLaren is already not making any progress either on the track or off the track. There were many unpleasant news about the team including the liars Hamilton told to tell the race officials. In fact McLaren has been with problems involving team members discipline when they were involved in the car spying incident last 2 years.

It is the Brawn GP, Toyota and the Williams who seems to be taking over as the front runners now. In 2 weeks time when the team move to China, we do hope that Brawn will still maintain the good run and show the big boys that they are here for business.

last Jenson said, the race in Sepang was very exciting and it was except that it got suspended half way and Jenson’s only rewarded with only 5 points of the maximum 10.

It’s 1-2 Finish for Brawn GP

Jenson Button took the chequered flag while Ruben Barrichello came in second at the Australian GP today made it the most popular race ever. Jarno Trulli took the third spot and Lewis Hamilton is fourth. The power of dreams really came true for the ex Honda outfit and the man who was behind the success was non other than Ross Brawn who has many success stories at Ferrari before this.

Will the Brawn GP continue for the rest of the season. My guess is they are true championship ingredients and are obviously a better one than the McLaren. The car was fast and strong as Ruben was hit at all but still managed to finished second.

We do hope that they will continue to next stop in Malaysia.

First Dream to own a car

Most people would want to own a dream car. Even owning a car was a dream during my days as a teenager. It was not common during those days for someone who just came out from school to drive a car, even a used old car. Although nowadays things have changed a bit as parent will like to give their children a car right after they got their driving license. But I still believe that many of us will flip through the car magazines once a while to look for our dream car.

To own a dream car is not just owning a car so that you can drive it from your house to your place of work or to a supermarket to get your daily groceries. A dream car is something that you drive during your weekends offs and speed through the highways and enjoy the sound of the engine. Most of people’s dream car are those sporty looking car or a convertible or an SUV which they can drive to the out of town to get some fresh air in the country.

I own a few cars in my life from many types of manufacturers and once there were my dream car when they were in the showroom. Nowadays car comes in many modern types with bigger capacity engines and those that can go off road like the 4X4 drives vehicles. There are also mobile homes where buses are converted into houses where you can travel to everywhere and at the same time sleep inside the mobile home.

Hybrid cars are something quite new to the market and it will be a very good car to own now that there are many issues in regards to supply of oil. Hybrid cars could well replace the traditional cars that runs on petrol or gas.

I looked into the Honda Hybrid and definitely this car come first to my mind as my dream car now. Now only it has a very stunning look and from a good Japanese manufacturer but owning a hybrid car will also helping in the environment conservation.

It is due to hit the market sometimes in 2009 and let it be the targeted goal this year. Although it may not in the luxury class of Mercedes and BMW cars but it will be a good start as far as the environment are concerned
