1) Don’t hound your ex with phone calls or text messages! This only makes you look desperate. You don’t want to show this side to your ex because this will produce a very negitive response. One call, maybe within a span of 3-5 days, should do.

2) When you do call, don’t argue about the break up! You don’t want to make the situation worse. If you are on the phone with your ex, talk about simple stuff. How was your day, what’s he/she been up to…you know, small talk.

Now this is what you should do

Is it because of a little thing that got way out of proportion? Or is it something really serious that led up to this situation? Whatever the cause is, you broke up for a reason. If you want your ex back, the first thing you need to do before even thinking of getting back into the relationship is to dont hide the problem and be prepared to FORGIVE, SAY SORRY and LET IT GO.

At the least, you have to be open enough to talk about it. If you are up to this, then look for positive signs that your ex is also open for a reconciliation.

The most positive sign that you will get back together is if you can still chat together. You can still chat, send text messages and both of you respond (no hateful messages, of course!).

You can correct this and get her/him back

1) Think of the word “we” instead of “I” or “you” as you talk. In doing so, you make your ex feel that coming together is much better than being separated or with someone else.

2) Imagine the loving situations that you shared together. Reliving those times will create a sense of nostalgia between you and your ex and will give you an amazing starting point for you both to move forward – together.
