Endless Goals

Goals and Dreams in Life

Light at the end of the tunnel

Can we see some shades of light at the end of this dark tunnel? Some of us may seen it while for some others the darkest moment is still yet to come. But we all know that the end of this bad time is going to end soon. Never mind of all the talk in town that the recession is still has a long way to recover and we must be ready for it. It is best that if we less worry and work our way to get out of the situation. First we must get out using our capability and power to push forward.

By now we may already know the cruel things a recession could do. Millions of people are losing jobs and their homes while others are turning to suicide as an alternative to end their agony. That is the impact of capitalism. Of all the wealth we gathered in years of hard work and in a blink of an eye it dissappeared in thin air. Many people have to start for zero again and a later stage of life and lost all their dreams.

Time to start that dream again

The good thing about dream is we know we always have hope. No matter how many times we failed, if we keep on and keep on going and fighting one day we will make it. Important thing is to never give up. If we fail a 100 times and we gave up, we will never make it. We are now in the middle of an economic crisis. Everyday we hear and read bad news where people losing their job and companies are shutting down operations and many people are ending up homeless.

These people too have dreams in life but somehow many do not realize about their dream. Many failed and giving up their dream half way for many reasons. Some fear they would fail, some do not have any passion for it while other just do not have enough courage and never start. But for many they do not realize that when they do not start, they are not even half way their and they will never be there. For things to happen, something must be done and we need to get it done.

During an economic crisis we are given with a chance to start all over again. Economic crisis is a cycle and it happen once in an average of 10 years, it is like a seasonal thing, it come and it go. Just like the season, it gives us the opportunity to make use of the season to fulfil what we want in life. We can find something new to do, another job or another place to live. It gives us the opportunity to look back and make some analysis on where things have gone wrong and where we should go on from now.

As an investor, I welcome a big economic downturn sometimes, because it mean to me that the harvesting season is over. Now it is the time when we should think of the next season where to grow our crops. We are in the winter months now and we should have enough food to last until the spring time where we can have another growing season.

In life the fundamentals are the same. We are taught the same way all the time but things happen in different situation. If you would like to fulfil your dreams to earn money in the next few years, I think it’s time for you to take a look at the investment world. Its time to start that dream again.

Jenson Button won the Malaysian GP at Sepang

It was raining and the race was suspended after 33 laps and Jenson Button was classified at the race winner as he was leading at the point of lap 31. Second was BMW Nick Heidfeld and Toyota Timo Glock came in third.

This is the second consecutive win for the Brawn GP team when they finished 1-2 at the Australian GP last week. Sure for now we can say that this new comer will soon replace the big boys of formula one like the Ferrari and the Mclaren who have yet showing any sign of a champion team.

Ferrari have yet to score a point and their tyre change strategy was a total mess up and failure, a big embarassment for a team once dubbed at the king in the rain.

McLaren is already not making any progress either on the track or off the track. There were many unpleasant news about the team including the liars Hamilton told to tell the race officials. In fact McLaren has been with problems involving team members discipline when they were involved in the car spying incident last 2 years.

It is the Brawn GP, Toyota and the Williams who seems to be taking over as the front runners now. In 2 weeks time when the team move to China, we do hope that Brawn will still maintain the good run and show the big boys that they are here for business.

last Jenson said, the race in Sepang was very exciting and it was except that it got suspended half way and Jenson’s only rewarded with only 5 points of the maximum 10.

Change Your Mind, Change Your Life

Resolution time? Here’s an idea. Change your thinking before you try changing any of your habits.

Let’s take a popular resolution—to lose weight. This is how your thoughts might go…“I am so fat! I have to lose weight! I have no discipline!” Stop. This kind of thinking will not help you change and it may set you up to fail. Your brain hears negative thoughts, and negative actions follow.

Start sending different messages to your brain and you will get different results. Here are some examples: When you say to yourself, “I am fat,” tell yourself instead, “I am going to have a healthy body.” When you hear yourself say, “I have no discipline,” change it to, “I am capable of doing this.” Change “I do not have any time to exercise,” to “I have plenty of time to exercise. When you try to justify eating something unhealthy, stop, and say, “My body deserves healthy food.” Instead of saying, “I hate exercise,” say, “My body loves movement.”

It does not matter if you believe what you are saying right away. You are changing self-destructive talk that has been going on for a long time. This is the talk that got you to an unhealthy place. Don’t worry about how you will change your behavior. Once you start changing your thoughts, your brain will work on making these things come true. You say, “My body wants healthy food,” and you will find yourself looking at totally different menu items. You say, “My body loves movement,” and a few days later you get the idea of walking in the morning with a friend. You are not lazy or undisciplined. You have just gotten in the habit of thinking in a certain way. Change your thoughts and enjoy the feelings of success that will follow. Make this fun. Make it a game. Give it a try. Observe yourself and see how often you find yourself speaking in a negative way. You may be surprised at how hard you are on yourself. After practicing this for a time, you will come up with many more positive things you can say to yourself. And positive thoughts will lead to positive changes.

You can change your actions by first changing your thoughts. It takes time, but it is worth it. Try it! This could be the best year you’ve ever had!
